New Toys!

On my "When I retire" list is learning to quilt.
I got this beautiful Janome sewing machine.

I hope to take lessons this summer.

Also on my list was "learn to Text"
So I got me an iphone

and lots of cool apps

even a stitch counter!!!!

I also got this great floor steamer by Haan.
The floor must be clean for Eloise!

On the knitting front I finshed a Whirligig Shrug by Stefanie Japel in 3 month size.

I'm going to start a 12 month size next.

This is my second Oden finished.

I add a crochet trim to the sleeves.

Oh, I really love the shrug you have made, and Oden ... what a wonderful idea with the crochet trim! It really turned out marvelous!

Yes, isn't it just too quick and fun to finish all those cute baby itims? I had made so many of different kind when I expected my firs grandson, so I had gone from size to size and was also working with size 1 years when he was born :-) Shortly after that I had to promise to take a break with baby things, the had no room for everything!

Take good care of yourself!

Love the sweaters. They are beautiful.

Now I have to go see if I can find a stitch counter app for my Blackberry! What a cool idea.

Good stuff! That's what I call great retirement planning. And some lovely knitting as a bonus.

You tech savvy girl! I do love the sweaters... Lena's is my favorite so far w/ the trim you did.

You know at some point it would be fun to see all your baby knits piled up together - I bet it'd be quite an impressive sight!

Good luck with that Retirement To-Do list. I've been retired since 2005 and haven't progressed too far because I'm too busy. I love retirement. The projects are all beautiful.

Excellent knitting! I love the edge treatment to the sweater, nice touch.

Love the toys. I want to get an Iphone but I'm stuck with my "Crapberry" until October.

I have a brother sewing machine. I love it but have my eye on the new Janome Horizon. Must be a zillion dollars... one day
