Keeping Heads Warm

My Lula in her newest hat.

This is the Insulate! Hat by Amy van de Laar. It is a free pattern on Ravelry and a tribute to Doctor Who.
There's one on the needles for my boy.

Better blog

Working on improving my blog so I will be experimenting with different apps.
This is my Lula in NYC checking out the dinosaurs.
I have found a great blog
http://lifeinyonder.blogspot.com
Worth checking out.

Looking back

I was looking back at some old posts and have been inspired to continue this blog as a gift to my grandchildren.

Here comes the sun

We have had a few warmer day and some of the snow is melting.
Cabin fever has made way to lots of knitting.

Here are a few gloves and a sockhead hat. The bag is a prize I won at the new. LYS. It was filled with a sweater quantity of Cascade yarn!

This is the Antler Cardigan From Tincanknits I made for Ella. It is now blocked and just needs buttons. I will start one for my Ben soon.

Snow Snow Everywhere

We had a snowstorm yesterday, another is on its way tonight and yet another on Sunday night.

It is beautiful but it's a lot of work!

My anteler sweater by Tin Can Knits is well on it's way to being done.

This is such a well written pattern and a beautiful design.

First Born went to NYC and took my Lula to her favorite place.

The American museum of natural history.
Lula is wearing a dress I knit up for her.

On my own

My babies are home with their moms today so I have a day to myself.
Going to cast on two pairs of gloves for first born and continue work on Ella's antler sweater.

A new yarns store is opening up Sunday in my area. Can't wait to go and have an outing with both my daughters. I will be purchasing ChiaoGoo interchangeable and hopefully some beautiful yarn!
