Gloves, Needles And What Was I Thinking!

I can't seem to stop making gloves.
These are out of Knit Picks sock yarn and will be for me.
I also got some great books from Knit Pick. They are having a 40% off sale on their books!

These are not such great picture of my first Signature Needles and a case for the. I started my collection with DPNs US size 5 and 6. They're so beautiful I can't wait to start working with them. I ordered an extra 5 and 6 because it is better to have a size of 5. I also ordered a set of 5 US size 4 and some single pointed ones which I'll post better picture of next time.

I will never post about a project that isn't well on it's way again.
I have not been able to get past the I-cord cast-on for the Flood gloves! I've started 5 or 6 times.

I made large copies of the chart and set it up on my Knit Picks chart keeper.

I started to color in the different cable to make it easier. What was I thinking! I in no way have the skill level to follow this complicated chart.

There are a pair of cable gloves in my new book that I may try first because the chart is much easier. No posting on them until they are half way done!

I can't believe all the gloves you have! For some reason I can't force myself to knit them I just hate messing with the fingers! But I think each time I see gloves you finish its gonna make me want to try them again!

Oh, don't give up! I'm casting on for the gloves as soon as I finish the Druid Mittens from the last issue. We can be each other's support system!

Oh my goodness, those needles are a work of art. I just checked out the store for them? Wow... I think you've just introduced me to a very dangerous thing for my wallet! =D

PS - The Calorimetry? Best thing ever. I have already have two of them, and I love them to pieces. Keeps your head warm, without ruining your hair.

I wouldn't be able to do those gloves with all that cabling either. I will watch with anticipation as you continue to try to conquer them.

I LOVE your Signature needles!! Are they as wonderful as they look?
The magazine ads always make them seem so dreamy! Unfortunately, I've never mastered that I-cord Cast On. There's a sock pattern that I started several times and gave up on! But your gloves are great...I've never done a full pair. But I feel inspiration coming!!!

I like the picture of the glove in progress. It helps me to imagine what it will be like to knit a pair...someday.

Those gloves look great!! I don't have the stomack for doing gloves with fingers in them yet and I wouldn't be able to follow that chart either..........just looking at it gives me a headache ;)

They are looking like a true challenge, but the result will be pretty for sure

The pattern really looks a bit complicated, but sooner or later ...

I'm sure you'll fix them in no time, you have done so many wonderful ones before and will soon add these to the list.

PHEW I don't think I could follow that chart, but go ahead and challenge yourself (isn't that what we tell students all the time?) and I'm sure they will be LOVELY!

Gloves? I'm impressed and inspired. That's why you've been given a Kreativ Blogger award. Check out my blog for details.

I love the gloves. I've been thinking of making my first pair. All I've done so far is mittens.

I can't believe you make gloves! Wristwarmers and mittens I'll do but something about gloves scares me. Thank you for all the lovely comments :)
