Cable Glove Crazy

I am sure my obsession with gloves will pass but right now it's so bad that I look at any yarn as future gloves.
These Welig gloves by Robin Melanson are made from Cascade 220 Tweed.

I love this pattern and am sure I will make another pair soon.

On the family front, both my daughters are teachers with MA degrees and are now home owners. They live 10 min. away from each other both farther away from me! I guess I will be moving very soon.
My first born is an amazing writer and I wish she would do more of that because I know there is a best seller waiting to come out.
My last born is an awesome artist and now that she has a studio in her new house I hope she will soon have a showing of her work.
I am so proud of both and bless to have them.

Nice to hear from you again. I could develop a passion for those kind of gloves, too--as soon as I finish a bunch of socks. My love of sock knitting has never waned. You have every right to be proud of the girls. Just wait till the "grands" come along. That's another exciting thing altogether.

those gloves are beautiful and look very snuggly.
Nice to see that being proud of your children continues as they grow up and leave the nest. Mine are 10 and 7 and I often find myself very proud of them, and it's such a nice feeling.

I have made lots of socks, but have yet to try gloves... any words of wisdom. Yours are fabulous.

Congrats on the girls and you should be very proud of their accomplishments.
